How to Wear a Scarf - Video Tutorial
This is by far the most asked accessory question I receive in consultations. And I believe the best way of learning how is by watching it and hearing clear instruction. So instead of having me show you one on one (which I love to do, but can't always be there with you before work, brunch, a drink with the ladies, little league practice, grocery store runs... ) here it is for your viewing pleasure with the ability to rewind, repeat, and refer back to in the months and years to come. I know…it's a jaw dropper. I would love to hear your thoughts, of course! If you have any suggestions, questions, or comments please leave a love note below. Enjoy Beautiful!
P.S. You can check out these great scarves at my Stella & Dot Website. I love how easy they are to work with and the colors/designs are phenomenal! xoxo
Your Top 10 "Must Haves" for Spring Part 1
I have made my list and I'm sticking to it…here is your guide from clothes to makeup, shoes to sunglasses. May it make your Spring Spectacular!
1. White on White…White on Everything!
White is classic, chic, sophisticated, and feminine. You can't go wrong with white. It is looking particularly good paired with shades of white or other neutral shades such as grey, black, ivory, blush pink, or navy this season. If your wardrobe is lacking in the white department, I would suggest starting with a pair of white trousers, a blazer, or both.
An easy way to add a soft "pop" of color to your ensemble. Although I am partial to mint, I also love the idea of pastel pink heels or a pale yellow stone necklace… Really any accessory, handbag, or shoe in a pastel will look fantastic and fresh.
I don't know if you've noticed, but this is the "IT" color for this Spring season. All over the runway...It is also a very classic color that will blend in well with the rest of your wardrobe. I have it shown here with pops of color, but it is easily worn with all of your favorite neutral pieces. The perfect companion to your white items. I love the idea of a light weight blush pink blouse for spring...
5. Work that Cardigan
Most likely, this is an item you already have. Like me, you might be getting a little tired of the old cardi…but it does't deserve my weariness, it can be revived by pairing with casual jeans, or shorts with heels. I am so excited to try...
I cannot remember being more excited to be getting into spring clothing…probably because winter has been so brutal this year. I am ready to put it all behind me and think happy, warmer thoughts (are you with me?). As we day dream of the next fashion season, don't forget to check out Part 2 coming soon. I will have shoe, makeup, and sunglasses must haves! See you then...
P.S. What are you most excited about wearing this Spring??? I was recently given a friend's Diane Von Furstenburg blouse in pastel pink…I feel so spoiled...xoxo
