*Bonus Blog* Inspiration and Organization in One
I made an inspirational, organizational, interchangeable art piece! Well, technically it's a pin board ;)
I just wanted to share this project I worked on over the Memorial Day weekend. I thought some of you might like to try it yourself. I'm sure some of you already have made or bought one and use it on a regular basis :)
I had found a large BEAUTIFUL antique picture frame at the St. Vincent De Paul dig and save. I paid $2 for it! It is 30" x 40".
I bought a foam display board at Stapples (it was perfectly 30" x 40") and some cork squares to cut and glue to the foam board.
After my hubby kindly put it together for me (I am good at coming up with the idea, not so great at the execution when it comes to precise measurements and cutting), we put it in the frame and hammered in tiny nails to hold it in place and here it is...
I was really happy with how it turned out! This will be sitting right over my home office space. I was VERY excited to add some of my favorite magazine tears to create my own inspiring visuals...
I laid the board out on our dining room table. As you can see, it covered my whole table! This is one serious board...
Laying everything out before committing to pinning them...
Here is the finished board up in my office space :) Squeeek!
Close up look...
There you have it! I LOVE that I can easily change out the tears with the new ones as the seasons and styles change.
What do you think? Would you use something like this in your home/office? OR, do you have some more ideas for how to use it?
