Spring Shoes Styles for 2012
#1 Espadrilles and Colorful Flats
Regardless of how it feels outside, Spring is on it's way! I am definitely feeling the need for a change in my wardrobe. I am already gravitating towards lighter weight materials, brighter colors, and a healthy dose of flouncy patterns.
As much as I LOVE boot season, I am more than ready to give my feet some other options this time of the year. I am a bargain shopper when it comes to Spring and Summer shoes. Fall/Winter boots are investment pieces in my eyes, but Spring is much more trend focused and gives me something fun to look forward to, especially knowing my feet didn't change size with my typical 5-7lb. weight gain over the winter months :) Thank you feet...
Below are two of the styles I recommend for this Spring with different options for varying budgets. I will cover other Spring shoe options as well in the next week or so. Stay tuned...
Colorful Ballet Flats
The easiest way to add color to an outfit is with a pop of color on your sweet little feet. It's never over whelming, so go as bright as you want!
How to wear them: Flats can be paired with anything from skirts and dresses to shorts and cropped pants.
An up to date flat is not chunky and shows a little toe cleavage. Most of these flats below come in other bright and fabulous colors not shown :)
Budget Under $25
Splurge $60 and up
These shoes make you feel like you're on vacation :) They are a more casual and practical style shoe. Perfect for the fashionable mommy on the go or for comfy weekend wear.
How to wear them: Espadrilles are great paired with jeans, shorts, or cropped pants.
There are different variations to the espadrille. A traditional espadrille covers the top of the foot, but they can come in a ballet flat style as well.
